Brilliant Ruisi’s become Bright Ivy’s first string quartet

4 August 2015

Bright Ivy are delighted to announce the signing of the Ruisi String Quartet to their roster of artists.

The only ensemble to make the final of 2015’s prestigious YCAT competition, the Ruisi Quartet are widely regarded as one of the finest young string quartets in the UK.

Equally at home performing intricate modern masterpieces such as Steve Reich’s Different Trains or interpreting more familiar works by Mozart and Haydn, the Ruisi Quartet’s breadth of repertoire is quickly

setting them apart from their peers.

Following on from their sell-out live broadcast of Different Trains, with the composer himself, your next chance to catch the quartet is in concert at North Norfolk Music Festival on the 18th of August.

Watch the quartet’s live performance of Haydn’s Op. 76 No.1 from the Royal College of Music here.
