Ruisi in Scotland

23 February 2017

The Ruisi Quartet are about to embark on a five-day concert tour of Scotland, supported by the Tunnell Trust.

Mozart's "Dissonance" quartet is paired with Ravel's quartet in F, while Friday's concert in Melrose skews more Romantic, with Wolf's "Italian Serenade" and Schubert's "Rosamunde" quartet.

Ruisi will be visiting Fort William (near Ben Nevis), and Islay, home of some of Scotland's most famous whisky distilleries. When they return to England, they'll give a lunchtime concert as part of City Music Society's Young Artist Series on March 3rd at St. Bartholomew the Great, Smithfield that also spotlights the Ravel they took on tour.
